ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Chrissy M. Dennis lives in Saskatchewan, Canada, and has a Masters of Divinity in Youth and Family Ministry from Briercrest College & Seminary. In her late teen years, Chrissy felt the call of God to minister to the needs of youth in a changing North American culture, providing support and biblical teaching to those lost in the haze of worldviews counter to Jesus' call for the church. Chrissy hopes to continue writing, specifically regarding issues relevant to today's teens, offering a message of salvation and hope which the Lord has laid upon her heart.
Chrissy originally hails from St. Catharines, Ontario where she grew up and where her immediate family currently resides. While working with teens in Ontario as well as during her time in Saskatchewan, Chrissy was exposed to the many tough challenges faced by youth which she hopes to address in her ministry as well as her writing. Chrissy's first novel, "The Lion Cubs", was published by Word Alive Press after winning the 2011 Publishing Contest. This novel deals with themes of abuse and abandonment and received positive reviews. Up to date, her novel has been nominated for two categories for the 2013 Word Awards hosted by the Word Guild. "A Sinking Star", "Safe on Solid Ground" and "The Paper Wolf" were published in 2018, 2019, and 2021 respectively by Anaiah Press. By the Lord's leading, Chrissy trusts that her books will be used for the glory of God and the growth of His kingdom through the healing work of the Gospel.
